The Friends of the Lexington Senior Center have established a $50,000 fundraising goal for 2023.
The goal of the group is to “catch the little things that tend to slip through the cracks in operating budgets.”
The group is founded on the premise that “Lexington seniors deserve a lively place to convene, create, compete, exercise, engage, explore, play, and make the most of life.”
With donations and an active board of directors, the Friends have funded an emergency intercom for the Senior Center, exercise equipment, and a grocery delivery system for seniors during the COVID shutdown.
The Friends of the Lexington Senior Center is a 501c3 organization.
