At November’s Women Leading Kentucky luncheon, Gale Reece was presented with the Isabel Yates Community Service Award.
Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton noted Reece “has been a strong advocate for our seniors, helping develop and lead the I Know Expo, ITNBluegrass, Reimagining Home, and Friends of the Lexington Senior Center.”
The Isabel Yates Community Service Award was established in 2020 to honor Lexington’s ‘First Lady of All Things Good’ in recognition of her many contributions to the community. The award honors a woman whose service has made an enduring impact on the Lexington community.
