On Monday, May 11, Sayre Christian Village wanted to celebrate the moms in their facility with a car parade for Mother’s Day.
Over 75 cars made their way along the SCV property. Family members, loved ones, anyone with a car came to support the mothers at the facility and show they are loved. There were so many cars one resident said “I need to hold my arm up with all this waving!”
Even with the chilly weather, these women stayed outside for the opportunity to see their loved one without any glass between them.
It was a very touching moment for the residents to see all the time and effort put in to make this not-so-normal Mother’s Day special.
