Woodland Christian Church hosted a January 2025 groundbreaking that will result in 38 Affordable Senior Living Apartments, soon to be built; a renovation of the historic sanctuary; and a new and innovative partnership labeled “Deep Roots. New Beginnings.”
The project, originally announced in 2022, is designed to incorporate a mixed use design in an already thriving urban neighborhood.
While most senior housing has been edged to Lexington’s suburbs, this one is placed in the heart of the city, and includes ample amenities within safe walking distance (Woodland Park is across High Street; groceries, shopping, restaurant and retail are all close by.)
